A major error by WWE has prematurely revealed the identity of the masked wrestler known as El Grande Americano. The promotion inadvertently exposed the man behind the mask through a new product listing.
An image circulating online shows a replica of the luchador’s headwear available for purchase, with the product description explicitly labeling it as a “Chad Gable replica lucha head costume.” This slip-up confirms that Gable is the performer portraying the new character.
The revelation provides clarity on an exceptionally busy weekend for the superstar. As El Grande Americano, he competed in the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match this past Saturday night. The high-stakes contest was ultimately won by Seth Rollins, following interference from Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.

The unmasking now confirms Chad Gable’s participation in two separate high-profile events on the same day. In addition to the Money in the Bank match, Gable wrestled at the WWE x AAA Worlds Collide event, challenging El Hijo del Vikingo for the AAA Mega Championship.
Despite the loss, Gable reflected on the experience as a career highlight. “Maybe the most special day of my entire career,” he stated, expressing immense pride in the collaborative venture between the two promotions and the positive reception it generated. He viewed the show as a crucial step for the partnership’s future.
Gable’s demanding schedule continued into this past Monday’s episode of WWE RAW. He faced AJ Styles in a highly competitive bout, showcasing his technical prowess with a German suplex and a top-rope headbutt, and even reversing a Phenomenal Forearm into an Ankle Lock. Styles, however, secured the victory with the Styles Clash. Later in the broadcast, during a separate segment, Gable also made a direct appeal to the WWE Universe and his colleagues for more respect, adding another layer to his ongoing character development as the company heads toward Night of Champions on June 28.
