The first official contest for WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) Worlds Collide 2025 was unveiled during the May 23, 2025, broadcast of SmackDown, pitting Legado Del Fantasma against the AAA Worldwide trio of El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Psycho Clown, and Pagano for the June 7 premium live event in Inglewood, California.
The confirmation of this interpromotional trios match occurred via a video segment on WWE SmackDown. In the footage, Santos Escobar addressed his Legado Del Fantasma stablemates, Angel and Berto, informing them of the upcoming bout against the AAA contingent. Escobar spoke of their group’s capabilities and the opportunity to showcase their talents to the AAA audience, though Angel and Berto appeared somewhat reluctant. The segment concluded with Berto walking away as Escobar attempted a toast, leading Escobar to remark that Berto would soon understand.
This newly announced six-man tag team match will therefore see Santos Escobar, Angel, and Berto of Legado Del Fantasma collide with El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Psycho Clown, and Pagano, representing AAA Worldwide.
