Carlito’s impending departure from WWE was underscored by his conspicuous absence from all Judgment Day segments during the June 2, 2025, episode of WWE RAW. This came after Carlito announced on June 1st that his WWE contract, set to expire in approximately two weeks, would not be renewed.
Despite no official on-screen explanation for his non-appearance with The Judgment Day, subtle acknowledgments occurred. Dominik Mysterio was seen wearing a Carlito t-shirt during a backstage segment, and the PS5 typically found in The Judgment Day’s clubhouse was also missing. During a match involving another member of the faction, fans in attendance chanted “Where’s Carlito?”

Carlito had been a consistent presence with The Judgment Day, particularly in backstage segments and as an interfering party in matches, since being drafted from WWE SmackDown to WWE RAW in the 2024 Draft and subsequently aligning with the group. His second tenure with WWE began in 2023 after a positive reception at Backlash in Puerto Rico, initially joining the LWO before his heel turn.
