WWE and TNA Wrestling’s multi-year partnership continues to evolve in 2024. Several TNA stars, including Joe Hendry, Jordynne Grace, and Zachary Wentz, appeared on NXT, while NXT stars have defended their titles on TNA programming.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio reports the partnership prioritizes TNA’s expansion in international television markets where WWE previously aired content before moving to Netflix. This strategy could affect AEW’s ability to expand its television programming outside the United States.
According to Meltzer’s report, some believe WWE might eventually acquire TNA Wrestling, while others suggest the partnership could prove detrimental for TNA.
WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H addressed the partnership on X, formerly Twitter.
Massive news for everyone. @WWE, @ThisIsTNA, and, most importantly, fans around the world. This valuable partnership will help prepare both companies for the next generation of this industry.
