Cody Rhodes Makes Important Revelations About His Future as Champion: “Never Say Never”

Cody Rhodes, the current Undisputed WWE Champion, commented on the possibility of taking on a “heel” role in the future. Since his return at WrestleMania 38, Rhodes has established himself as the company’s most beloved “babyface.” His pinnacle occurred at WrestleMania 40, where he defeated Roman Reigns to win the title.

Despite his immense popularity, Rhodes acknowledges that a shift to a “heel” role is not completely ruled out. In an interview on the Cheap Heat program with Peter Rosenberg, he expressed thoughts about this possible transition. “I think minimally about it. Never say never. Absolutes are the worst thing in Pro Wrestling,” said Rhodes.

He also highlighted the strong connection with young fans, a factor that makes him hesitate to adopt a new gimmick. “I’m very invested in this new generation of fans, who grow up attending shows and participating actively,” added Rhodes.

Rhodes still has time on his WWE contract, which gives him room to explore different characters over time.
