An injury sustained by Liv Morgan has compelled WWE to undertake a substantial overhaul of the creative direction for the upcoming Evolution pay-per-view. The event, scheduled for July 13, 2025, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, is now subject to major revisions.
According to a report from WrestleVotes, WWE’s creative team is in the process of “significantly reshaping” the event. This development follows a shoulder injury Morgan suffered, which sources indicate will require surgery and lead to an extended period away from the ring.
Morgan was reportedly a central figure in the original plans for Evolution. She was slated for a prominent role, including a developing WWE Women’s Championship feud with IYO SKY. Additionally, a WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship defense for Morgan and her partner, Raquel Rodriguez, was in place.
The injury has forced the company to abandon these key storylines, necessitating a complete rework of the card for the all-women’s show.
