WWE is set to broaden its collaborative efforts with the Big 12 conference, a venture that initially commenced in November 2023. This expanded partnership will see episodes of Friday Night SmackDown broadcast from various Big 12 markets throughout the forthcoming college football season, according to a report by Chris Vannini of The Athletic.
Specific plans include a SmackDown taping in Ireland for Week 0, preceding the Kansas State versus Iowa State game, and another broadcast from Orlando ahead of the UCF versus UNC matchup. These initiatives build upon previous collaborative moments, such as The Undertaker presenting Quinn Ewers with a WWE Big 12 branded championship belt in 2023, and Cam Skattebo receiving a similar honor in 2024 as the MVP of the championship game.
Tonight’s edition of SmackDown on May 30, 2025, will feature the return of Bianca Belair. The broadcast will also host significant Money in the Bank qualifying matches. A men’s triple threat match will see LA Knight, Aleister Black, and Shinsuke Nakamura compete for a spot in the ladder match, aiming to join Solo Sikoa. For the women’s qualifier, Zelina Vega, Charlotte Flair, and the newly acquired Giulia will contend for their place.

Additionally, The Street Profits, Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford, are scheduled to defend their WWE Tag Team Titles against Fraxiom. Fraxiom recently secured a non-title victory over the champions and maintain an undefeated record on SmackDown. The episode continues to build on recent storylines, including the activities of The Wyatt Sicks and the developing rivalry between LA Knight and Solo Sikoa. SmackDown airs at 8 PM ET on the USA Network.
