Cope (Edge), the inaugural winner of the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match, was conspicuously absent from a video package highlighting the bout’s history during the premium live event on June 7.
The presentation, which aired prior to the 2025 men’s ladder match, showcased statistics, previous winners, and this year’s field of competitors. Despite his foundational role in the match’s legacy, Cope was not featured in any capacity.
The omission was notable given Cope’s extensive history with the match type, which includes not only being the first to ever win the briefcase but also a successful cash-in and participation in multiple Money in the Bank contests over his career.
