The show begins with the arrival of the evening’s main protagonists: Oba Femi, Eddy Thorpe, and Bayley.
NXT North American Championship Match: Tony D’Angelo (c) w/ The Family vs. Ridge Holland
– D’Angelo lands a “Spinebuster” on Holland, followed by a pinfall.
Backstage, Wes Lee approaches Dion Lennox to joke about the conversation he had with Oba Femi last week. Trick Williams enters the locker room and, when Lee tries to taunt him about his title match loss against Femi, Williams responds with a well-placed slap, silencing the provocations.
Bayley makes her entrance to the ring and is received with a huge ovation from the crowd, who chants her name. On the microphone, she states that she’s home, which is why she was present last week. Bayley recalls her conversation with Roxanne Perez, who compared her to names like Natalya. She then declares that NXT doesn’t owe anything to anyone, not even Perez, and that her duty is to put the former champion in her place, since she pursued her to SmackDown and RAW, where she tried to attack her. Bayley emphasizes that this doesn’t prove Perez is ready for the main roster, and takes the opportunity to praise NXT’s women’s division, highlighting its new leader, Giulia.
“The Beautiful Madness” interrupts the segment. The Italian-Japanese wrestler confesses that she always wanted to be like Bayley and be in NXT. She states that, unlike Perez, she looks up to her. Bayley responds that she respects her and was happy to see her win the title, a title that changed the landscape of the women’s division.
Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade interrupt the segment. The two mock Bayley but receive boos from the audience. Jade declares that Bayley is not a role model and advises Giulia to return the title to Perez, stating that she won’t be able to lead the division as Perez did. The crowd’s boos continue to drown out the heels’ words. Perez acknowledges Bayley’s achievements in WWE and praises her for inspiring talents like herself and Jade, but states that it’s time for her to leave.
Perez declares that Bayley wants to win the NXT Women’s Championship and suggests that she be honest with Giulia. Dissatisfied with the situation, the Italian-Japanese wrestler and Bayley go after the heels, driving them out of the ring.
Backstage, Kelani Jordan and Jaida Parker argue. A love-struck Karmen Petrovic tries to calm the situation. Parker mocks the Canadian, stating that in a few months, her boyfriend, Ashante “Thee” Adonis, will abandon her. Furious, Petrovic pushes Parker. Their colleagues intervene to prevent a fight.
Back in the ring, Perez, Jade, Giulia, and Bayley continue exchanging blows. Several officials try to separate them while the crowd asks to let the fight continue. Jade and Bayley restart the confrontation, while Giulia and Perez exchange attacks. The babyfaces again drive their rivals out of the ring. The officials escort Perez and Jade backstage, where a furious Ava awaits them. Giulia and Bayley go after them once more, but the officials intervene. Dion Lennox passes by them on his way to the ring.
Singles Match: Dyon Lennox vs. Wes Lee w/ Tyson Dupont e Tyriek Igwe
– Lee lands a “Cardiac Kick” on Lennox, followed by a pinfall.
Williams grabs the microphone to address Trick Williams, promising to finish him in Atlanta. Williams invades the ring to attack Lee, who ends up being thrown out. Williams accepts the challenge and returns backstage, bumping into Lennox along the way.
NXT Heritage Cup Match: Lexis King (c) vs. Charlie Dempsey
– King lands a “Coronation DDT” on Dempsey, followed by a pinfall.
Naomi and Bianca Belair send a message to Meta-Four. The WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions praise Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend, but advise them to give their all in next week’s title match.
Andre Chase confronts Hank Walker and Tank Ledger, who demand explanations for being abandoned a few weeks ago. Chase suggests they part ways once and for all, stating that this is the fate of all teams. He then continues on his way until he finds Kale Dixon, who is watching some old Chase U videos. “Chase U is dead,” Andre declares before leaving.
Singles Match: Karmen Petrovic w/ Ashante “Thee” Adonis vs. Jaida Parker
– Petrovic lands a “Roll-Up” on Parker, winning the match.
Sol Ruca and Zaria approach Meta-Four to remind them that next week’s match could represent the return of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship to NXT. Lash Legend assures them they will win it, and there’s no better scenario than her hometown. Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley appear to wish their fellow wrestlers victory. Legend and Jackson demonstrate confidence in their win. Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nyx observe the scene from afar.
Tag Team Match: Brooks Jensen and Niko Vance vs. Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo and Luca Crusifino
– Vance lands a “Lariat” on Lorenzo, followed by a pinfall.
Sarah Schreiber interviews Axiom and Nathan Frazer. The champions recall their visit to TNA last week and #DIY’s presence at the last NXT show. Frazer reaffirms that they are the best tag team in the world. Yoshiki Inamura and Josh Briggs interrupt the interview to confront the Europeans for neglecting NXT’s tag team division, challenging them again for the title. Lucien Price and Bronco Nima appear furiously to start a new fight with Briggs and Inamura.
Backstage, Dion Lennox attacks NXT furniture. Tony D’Angelo says goodbye to Izzi Dame before meeting with his companions. “Stacks” indicates that they needed him at ringside. D’Angelo responds that he couldn’t attend because Dame wouldn’t stop talking, and adds that Lorenzo is already big enough to handle this kind of situation.
Ethan Page delivers a video promo. “All Ego” confesses that he enjoyed hearing his victims’ bones break, recalling how he made Je’Von Evans bleed on two occasions. Page advises Evans not to cross his path again, as next time he won’t stop.
Ava reminds Evans that he doesn’t have medical clearance, so she won’t authorize a match against Ethan Page. Cedric Alexander appears to inform his partner that his hand has recovered and that he will take care of “All Ego” next week. Evans shows satisfaction with the news. The two leave the General Manager’s office. The A-Town Down Under enters the office to confirm their presence at next week’s show, requesting Ava to reinforce security.
NXT Championship Match: Oba Femi (c) vs. Eddy Thorpe
– Femi lands a “Powerbomb” on Thorpe, followed by a pinfall.
After the match, Trick Williams appears to confront Femi, showing he wants his title rematch. Thorpe tries to attack Williams, who quickly hits him with a “Trick Kick”. Williams faces off with Femi again, ending this week’s show.
End of show.
