Information has emerged concerning the original booking for Zoey Stark’s Money in the Bank qualifying match on WWE RAW, which was abruptly altered after she sustained an injury. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported on the initial plans for the Triple Threat contest that also included Rhea Ripley and Kairi Sane.
According to Sapp, the planned conclusion involved Stark taking the deciding fall. “I don’t know who was originally supposed to win the match, but it was implied to me that Zoey was supposed to take the pin,” Sapp stated regarding the intended finish.
This scenario did not unfold due to Stark injuring her knee when she performed a missile dropkick on Kairi Sane. The match, which was Stark’s first singles competition on WWE RAW in nearly five months, was momentarily stopped for a ringside physician to assess her. Unable to continue, Stark was then assisted to the back.

Following Stark’s departure from the match, Rhea Ripley secured the win by defeating Kairi Sane. There has been no official statement from WWE or Zoey Stark regarding her condition. However, during the broadcast, commentator Michael Cole mentioned the possibility that Stark might have re-aggravated a knee that had been surgically repaired in the past, an injury which previously resulted in a significant period of absence from action for her.
