Joaquin Wilde has been withdrawn from the ongoing WWE Speed Championship tournament following an injury sustained during his match against Lexis King. The bout, which took place prior to Monday’s episode of WWE RAW in Tulsa, Oklahoma, resulted in a no contest after Wilde was reportedly “knocked out cold.”
Noam Dar has stepped in as Wilde’s replacement in the tournament. Dar competed against Lexis King in a match taped at the WWE Performance Center during this week’s NXT programming. Dar won the contest, securing his place in the tournament finals.
Noam Dar is set to face Berto from the SmackDown roster in the championship finals. The winner of this match will then challenge the reigning Men’s WWE Speed Champion, El Grande Americano.
