WWE Reportedly Preparing a Major Return for Backlash

WWE Backlash 2025 could mark the return of Bayley, who has been absent since WrestleMania 41. The Role Model was originally set to team with Lyra Valkyria before being attacked backstage, forcing her withdrawal.

Valkyria later partnered with Becky Lynch to capture the Women’s Tag Team Titles, only to lose them the next night. Lynch then turned on Valkyria and claimed responsibility for Bayley’s assault.

At Backlash, Lynch challenges Valkyria for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. If she wins, Bayley may interrupt, reigniting their rivalry.
