The June 2, 2025, edition of WWE RAW, serving as the final broadcast from the red brand before this Saturday’s Money in the Bank premium live event, has been augmented with two significant, newly announced segments. These additions promise to further escalate the anticipation for the weekend’s high-stakes gathering.
In one of the freshly slated encounters, World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso will team with Sami Zayn to face the formidable duo of Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker. This tag team match offers Jey Uso a final opportunity to gain momentum before he partners with Cody Rhodes at Money in the Bank to take on Logan Paul and John Cena.
Additionally, WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria is now scheduled for a live appearance. Valkyria will address her intensifying rivalry with Becky Lynch. This feud has seen Valkyria defeat Lynch at Backlash and subsequently play a role in costing Lynch an opportunity to qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder match.

These new developments join an already compelling lineup for WWE RAW. Two crucial Money in the Bank qualifying matches are set, with CM Punk, AJ Styles, and El Grande Americano competing in a Triple Threat match for a spot in the men’s ladder match, marking the first in-ring confrontation between Punk and Styles. For the women’s ladder match, Liv Morgan, Stephanie Vaquer, and Ivy Nile will vie for the last remaining position.
The outcomes on WWE RAW will directly influence the Money in the Bank event, scheduled for Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. The event will be broadcast live at 7 PM ET / 4 PM PT on Peacock within the United States and on Netflix in most international markets.
The Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match will feature six competitors. Confirmed participants include LA Knight, Andrade, Penta, Solo Sikoa, and Seth Rollins, with the WWE RAW qualifier determining the final entrant. Expectations suggest CM Punk is a strong contender for this last spot.
Similarly, the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match will see six participants. Alexa Bliss, Giulia, Naomi, Rhea Ripley, and Roxanne Perez have already qualified. Historically, winners of this match boast a 100% success rate cashing in for a championship. The WWE RAW qualifier will complete this field, with some considering Stephanie Vaquer a notable potential winner if she qualifies.
Other pivotal encounters at Money in the Bank include a major tag team contest pitting Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso against Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena and Logan Paul. This match stems from Cena’s recent heel turn, his capture of a 17th World Title from Rhodes, and his declared mission to “ruin wrestling,” leading to Rhodes issuing the challenge. This will also mark Cena’s final in-ring appearance at a Money in the Bank event, as his retirement is anticipated at the end of 2025.
