WWE has confirmed Kairi Sane’s presence at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina, through a video shared on social media, pointing to her return on tonight’s WWE RAW broadcast. Sane has been absent from WWE programming since December 2024.
Her hiatus began following a backstage assault attributed to the Pure Fusion Collective. This incident occurred prior to the commencement of the tournament to decide the first Women’s Intercontinental Champion, a competition Sane was slated to participate in. Consequently, she was unable to compete for the new title. The tournament ultimately saw Lyra Valkyria emerge as the victor, and Valkyria continues to hold the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
In other developments concerning individuals previously associated with Sane, Dakota Kai, who was part of the Damage CTRL faction alongside Sane, was released by WWE earlier this month. Furthermore, Asuka, Sane’s partner in The Kabuki Warriors, has not appeared on WWE television since Backlash 2024. At that event, she and Sane lost the Women’s Tag Team Championships to the team of Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair.
