The announcement timing for WrestleMania 42’s new host city is now among the latest in recent memory. Despite the internal surprise, many on the talent roster are said to be largely unaffected, as WWE handles their travel and accommodation. Fightful Select conveyed that, regarding the new venue, ‘They haven’t heard where it will be yet,’ with many having made no preparations.
The change has wider implications, particularly for WrestleCon, which reportedly had secured a New Orleans venue. Other independent entities were also in advanced planning stages.
