WWE Veterans Credited with Revolutionizing Rising Star’s Wrestling Career

Potential WWE signee Man Like DeReiss praises Natalya and Tyson Kidd for their impactful training.

Man Like DeReiss has credited WWE veterans Natalya and Tyson Kidd (TJ Wilson) for revolutionizing his wrestling career, a statement coming amidst strong indications of interest from the global promotion, WWE, in signing the talent. DeReiss reportedly impressed officials during WWE tryouts held in Europe in March, and his praise highlights the impact of his training in America with the experienced duo.

The tryouts conducted by WWE during its European tour in March provided a significant opportunity for numerous independent talents across Britain and Europe. Man Like DeReiss was among those who participated, and his performance is understood to have generated considerable attention from WWE personnel, leading to reports of the company’s keen interest in bringing him aboard.

In a recent interview with Grapple Theory, DeReiss elaborated on the substantial influence Natalya and Tyson Kidd have had on his professional development, particularly through training sessions conducted in the United States. “I’m very lucky because I’m fortunate enough to be able to train with Nattie and TJ every time I go to America,” DeReiss shared. “So they’ve both helped me learn so many things about wrestling and look at things in different ways and training in that heat in Orlando, it was in Tampa, but just in front of the heat in general, just pushing through, not giving up, really digging deep, fighting for your life. I feel like that’s improved me as a wrestler like a hundred times over, over the past year.”

He further emphasized the depth of their contribution to his career trajectory over the roughly two-year period he has been training with them. “Well, it’s been about two years now since I’ve been training there and I feel like they’ve both helped change my career,” DeReiss added. “Nattie also gives me great advice and feedback and stuff, which everyone doesn’t know about really.”

This focus on talent development, especially from international regions, appears to be an ongoing strategy for WWE. Reports suggest the organization is actively looking to expand its roster with more international signings in the near future, and several names from various global territories have been rumored as potential new recruits for the company.
