Liv Morgan currently has no established creative direction heading into WrestleMania 41 despite a successful 2024 campaign. The Women’s World Champion from earlier this year has been absent from significant storylines since dropping her title in January.
Morgan experienced a strong 2024 prior to losing her championship, securing victories over prominent competitors including Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch. She also captured the Women’s Tag Team Championship, but this achievement has not translated into a compelling WrestleMania program.
WWE did present potential story developments between Morgan and Alexa Bliss at both Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber. However, these interactions were not followed up with any continuing narrative.

Instead of developing an independent storyline for Morgan, WWE recently placed her in a match against Jade Cargill on SmackDown. This booking decision raises questions about her status for WrestleMania.
The lack of creative direction for Morgan currently represents a significant shift from her momentum earlier in the year when she held singles championship gold.
