According to a report from Fightful Select, Michelle McCool is set to replace Mickie James as one of the coaches in the upcoming season of WWE LFG, Legends & Future Greats.
The WWE training program has recently garnered attention following its debut season. The show features rookies receiving training from established veterans to develop into future WWE performers.
The current coaching staff consists of four head coaches: Mickie James, Booker T, Bubba Ray Dudley, and The Undertaker. Fightful Select reports that James will be replaced by McCool in the next season.
The report states The Undertaker played a role in securing his wife’s position on the show. However, Fightful Select clarifies that The Deadman made no efforts to have James removed from her role.
According to the report, The Undertaker expressed willingness to continue with the show if his wife was involved in some capacity. The arrangement for the second season now appears to include McCool taking over James’ coaching position.
WWE has reportedly greenlit a second season of the LFG program. McCool is among the previously announced inductees for the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame class, which also includes Triple H receiving his second induction.
