Alexa Bliss addressed the continued speculation about her future, particularly concerning a potential role within the Wyatt Sicks. During an appearance at Fanatics Fest, she left the door open for aligning with the faction down the line.
“I think Windham (Rotunda) said it best when he said we will always be connected in some way. Whether that’s with the Wyatts or not, I’m not sure but, obviously, we’re all in this Bray (Wyatt) universe together and I think it would be something that’s awesome down the line. 100 percent,” Bliss stated.
Her comments fuel the ongoing discussion that has surrounded her since she returned at the Royal Rumble. Reports from March suggested a major angle involving Bliss and the Wyatt Sicks was considered for WrestleMania 41.
While her own future with the group remains undefined, Bliss offered high praise for one of its current members, her former tag team partner Nikki Cross, who now portrays Abby The Witch.
“It’s amazing. It’s incredible. I think it suits her so well. It’s the perfect amount of scary and I think it rounds out the Wyatt Sicks in a way that something was missing in the dynamics of the puppets and I think Nikki’s look is what completed it,” she explained.
At the same Fanatics event, Bliss also paid a memorable tribute to the late Bray Wyatt, making her entrance with two young fans dressed as “The Fiend” and a mini-version of herself to Wyatt’s “Let Me In” theme.
Reflecting on her return to the ring, Bliss acknowledged the high level of competition in the women’s division.
“Oh my gosh, it made me realize I really need to step my game up because these women that are coming up are incredible, and everyone’s just working their butts off and it was nice to step away for a little bit and get a new mentality to come back to and it’s just that extra drive,” Bliss said.
