Brie Bella has put a damper on speculation about her imminent return to a WWE ring. Speaking on the red carpet for the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on June 21, Brie clarified that despite recent reports suggesting she was in discussions for a comeback, the company has not contacted her.
Her comments directly contradict reports from mid-June that claimed she was in active talks with WWE.
“I would love to return. But I’m kind of waiting for that call still. Nikki got the call. Brie didn’t,” Brie stated in multiple interviews. She humorously added that her phone number has not changed, reinforcing her openness to a return.
The rumors of a Bella Twins reunion intensified following Nikki Bella’s recent involvement in a storyline with Liv Morgan. After a physical segment between Nikki and the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion on the June 9 edition of WWE RAW, many anticipated a tag team match pitting The Bella Twins against Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, potentially at the upcoming Evolution 2 premium live event in July.

However, any potential plans involving that specific matchup were abruptly halted. On the June 16 episode of WWE RAW, Liv Morgan suffered a dislocated shoulder during a match against Kairi Sane. The injury is expected to keep Morgan out of action for an extended period, forcing WWE to alter its creative direction for the Evolution event.
