Bubba Ray Dudley has opened the door for a final run for The Dudley Boyz in WWE, but he has a grand vision for what that farewell would entail. The iconic tag team has yet to have a definitive final chapter in the company.
Speaking in an interview with TVInsider, Bubba Ray confirmed that both he and D-Von Dudley would be interested in a return. However, he emphasized that the circumstances would have to be perfect, envisioning a massive stage for their last match.
“Of course. I think the entire WWE Universe would love to scream, ‘D-Von, get the tables,’ one last time. If it would be up to me and D-Von, it would be yes, we would love to do it one last time. It has to be with the right team standing across from us. It has to be at the right venue, city and right event. Hell, I ‘d love to do it at AT&T Stadium, Texas stadium with 101,000 people screaming one last time, “D-Von, get the tables.’”
Talk of another run for the decorated duo intensified following their recent appearance on NXT. The team reunited to save Trick Williams from an attack, reminding fans of their enduring popularity.
