Tonight’s WWE RAW from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, is loaded with high-stakes encounters as the final broadcast before the Night of Champions premium live event. The show will feature the semifinals for both the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments, a significant championship defense, and a special appearance by a WWE Hall of Famer.
The paths to the tournament finals will be determined in two pivotal matches. In the King of the Ring semifinal, Cody Rhodes will face Jey Uso in a battle between friends. The Queen of the Ring tournament will see Jade Cargill go one-on-one with Roxanne Perez to decide a finalist.
Beyond the tournament action, a major title will be on the line. Becky Lynch is scheduled to make the first-ever defense of the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship when she takes on Bayley. The match comes after a heated confrontation on last week’s program, with animosity between the two stemming from events at WrestleMania 41.
A newly confirmed singles match will also take place, as Bron Breakker is set to face PENTA.
Additionally, WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg will make a live appearance on the show. In what is being promoted as a “Special Sit-Down Interview,” Goldberg will address his upcoming retirement match against World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER, which is scheduled for Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 12. This follows Goldberg’s return on the June 16 episode where he confronted the champion to set up the bout.
Other key figures confirmed to be in attendance for the broadcast include Seth Rollins, World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER, Women’s World Champion IYO SKY, and Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio.
