WWE has announced that its most recent broadcast of RAW set a new benchmark in Columbus, Ohio. The company confirmed that the event was the highest-grossing live event in the history of the city.
In a post on its official X account, WWE revealed a sold-out attendance figure of 13,433 inside the Nationwide Arena for the show. The company shared a graphic detailing the achievement and thanked the city for the record-setting night.
This attendance number marks a significant increase compared to previous WWE events held at the same venue. A SmackDown taping in November 2023 drew a reported 7,805 fans, while the Extreme Rules premium live event in September 2021 had approximately 9,500 attendees. Other recent events, including a RAW taping in February 2022 and a non-televised show in December 2022, drew roughly 7,300 and 6,459 fans, respectively.
The record-breaking show served as the final broadcast before the upcoming Night of Champions premium live event in Saudi Arabia. The card featured the semifinal matches for both the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments. In the main event, Cody Rhodes defeated Jey Uso to advance to the King of the Ring finals. Earlier, Jade Cargill secured her spot in the Queen of the Ring finals with a victory over Roxanne Perez.
The broadcast also included a title defense where Becky Lynch retained her Intercontinental Championship against Bayley via disqualification. The show opened with a segment involving Paul Heyman and his associates to build anticipation for the events in Saudi Arabia.
Following Night of Champions, the WWE roster will return to the United States for a double taping in Pittsburgh, featuring both RAW and SmackDown episodes.
