WWE Sets Special Start For June 30 RAW

WWE announced that the June 30th episode of RAW will have a special start time of 6:00 p.m. ET to accommodate a SmackDown taping.

WWE will alter its broadcast schedule for the final RAW of June. During this past Monday’s show, the company announced the June 30th episode will begin at a special start time of 6:00 p.m. ET.

The earlier start from the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh is necessary to accommodate a double taping. Following the conclusion of RAW, WWE will tape the July 4th edition of SmackDown, a move that allows talent and crew to be home for the holiday.

A significant title match is already scheduled for the broadcast. The New Day’s Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods will defend their WWE World Tag Team Titles against Finn Balor and JD McDonagh of The Judgment Day.

This particular episode of RAW will also feature the immediate fallout from the Night of Champions event, which takes place two days prior. Furthermore, the subsequent SmackDown taping will mark that show’s official return to a two-hour format.
