The next step in AAA‘s expansion under WWE could come in the months ahead, this time with the promotion’s North American media rights at the center.
Talks on a new media rights deal for AAA have picked up recently, according to journalist Andrew Baydala, who has spoken to people with direct knowledge of the situation. He added that an agreement could be finalized as soon as the first quarter of 2027.
Here is what Baydala wrote.
“I fully believe that, after speaking with those with direct knowledge of the situation, a media rights deal for AAA in North America could come as soon as Q1 of 2027. Talks have intensified recently, and a decision/landing spot could be announced in the not-so-distant future.”
In the United States, AAA’s weekly show currently airs Saturdays at 10 p.m. ET on YouTube and Facebook. AAA has a broadcast deal with Fox in Mexico and throughout Central and South America, except Brazil.
Back in August, WrestleVotes Radio reported that holding the first night of TripleMania 34 in Las Vegas was part of a WWE strategy to showcase AAA to media executives and boost the promotion’s commercial appeal in the U.S. market.
AAA has grown considerably since WWE and Fillip acquired it in 2025. TripleMania XXXIII, for example, drew more than 4.3 million views on YouTube in its first 24 hours and peaked at 614,000 concurrent viewers.
