Ash by Elegance, formerly Dana Brooke in WWE, announced this Friday that she will undergo surgery, reigniting concern among TNA fans about her health.

The wrestler posted an update on her social media and made it clear she intends to talk more about the subject when she’s ready.

“Surgery time! Prayers up! Adds to my story I will share & hopefully help others going through what I am! Trust me you are not alone!”

The situation draws attention because Ash went through one of the most difficult moments of her career in September 2025, when she had to relinquish the TNA Knockouts World Championship at Victory Road after not being cleared to compete. At the time, she even indicated that her in-ring career was over.

In April, during an appearance on Generation of Wrestling, Ash said she was still dealing with an undisclosed health problem, which she described as a “medical mystery.” The wrestler also revealed she had spent days in the ICU before gradually being able to resume her routine.

Despite that, TNA announced in January that Ash had re-signed with the company after receiving medical clearance, remaining as the leader of the Elegance Brand alongside Heather by Elegance, M by Elegance, The Personal Concierge, and Mr. Elegance.

Her return to the ring came at Rebellion on April 11, when the Elegance Brand defeated Mickie James, Taryn Terrell, and ODB in a Hardcore Country Match.

Last night on TNA iMPACT!, Ash was still seen accompanying Mr. Elegance against The Home Town Man.
