Giulia had a special night on this week’s WWE RAW, held at the Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy.
She was one of the participants in a first-round Fatal 4-Way Match in the Queen of the Ring Tournament, facing IYO SKY, Roxanne Perez, and Lash Legend. Despite a strong reaction from the Italian crowd, Giulia came up short after SKY hit the Over the Moonsault and advanced to the semifinal.
After the show, Giulia took to social media and posted an emotional message about what the moment meant to her in Italy.
“I love wrestling. I love getting in the ring and fighting. I feel emotions I can’t describe. This brought me back to Italy, where I found a magnificent crowd that gave me an extraordinary experience and incredible affection. Thank you so much. I love you. Viva Italy. Arrivederci.”

"Amo la lucha libre.
Amo subir al ring y luchar.
Siento emociones que no sé cómo describir.

The strong fan reaction was not exactly a surprise. Giulia has a direct family connection to Italy, as her father is Italian, something that had been brought up repeatedly since WWE confirmed her for the European tour.
Monday’s RAW took place just one day after Clash in Italy, the first premium live event in WWE history to be held in the country. Triple H revealed that Sunday’s event drew 12,614 fans and was sold out.
It is worth remembering that Giulia was not on the Clash in Italy card, which led to criticism from some fans in the days before the event. Even so, her RAW appearance ended up producing one of the most memorable moments of the night for the local crowd.
