Seth Rollins has once again spoken openly about how he views his own WWE character, making it clear that he feels far more comfortable working as a heel than as a babyface.
During an appearance on ESPN’s Highlights with Omar, “The Visionary” said he does not see himself as being as natural in the babyface role as names like John Cena and Rey Mysterio.
“The truth is I’m not very good at being the hero. I can do it in short spurts, but I’m not like [John] Cena, I’m not like Rey Mysterio.”
“I get bored of myself and I think people get bored of me. I much prefer being a bad guy. I think it suits me better. Most of my favorite moments are being a piece of trash.”
The comment makes sense when looking back at some of the biggest heel moments of his career. His cash-in at WrestleMania 31, when he defeated Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, is still regarded by fans as one of the greatest of all time.
Rollins also spent much of 2025 as the central figure of The Vision, alongside Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.
Rollins is currently still involved in the ongoing battle with The Vision, while the group tries to stay strong even after Logan Paul’s injury.
