Tiffany Stratton believes the WWE women’s locker room is going through a much different phase than in previous generations, when competing for spots backstage was considered far more aggressive.
In a recent interview with Maxx Fuller of KFAN Radio, the current WWE Women’s United States Champion was asked whether she has already taken on a mentorship role for the younger talent. Stratton pointed to Nia Jax and Natalya as the two names most of the roster turns to.
“Yeah, I would say a lot of the girls are always kind of trying to navigate things. It is such a tough business, but we have a couple girls in the locker room, like Nia Jax, Natalya that people kind of go to and ask questions. They’re so amazing. And we have such a good locker room. I feel like there’s — it’s pretty much drama-free.
I feel like it used to be a lot cattier back in the day, but, you know, naturally with more TV time — and it’s a lot less cutthroat. The girls have kind of just bonded and we’re all kind of just in a good place in our careers. So, yeah, everyone’s great in the locker room.”

In short, Stratton characterized the locker room as practically drama-free. She said the increase in TV time available to the women’s division has also made competition for spots less brutal, allowing for closer bonds among the women on the roster.
The comments come at a big moment in Stratton’s career. She won the Women’s United States Championship on April 24, defeating Giulia on Friday Night SmackDown, and recently retained the title against Jade Cargill at Night of Champions.
