Add as a preferred source on Google ROH has its first match for Death Before Dishonor. Bandido will defend the ROH World Championship against Nick Wayne on August 21.
The match was made official on this week’s ROH TV and is the only one announced for the show so far. Death Before Dishonor runs from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia with a 7 p.m. ET start.
Bandido won the title from Chris Jericho in a Title vs. Mask match at AEW Dynasty on April 6, 2025. He goes into Philadelphia with nearly 500 days on the reign and 14 successful defenses.
Wayne is going for his first world title. He held the ROH World TV Title for close to 400 days before dropping it to AR Fox this past May.
Bandido also defended the ROH World Title at last year’s Death Before Dishonor, beating Hechicero at the same building.
