Lee Moriarty will defend the ROH Pure Title against Nigel McGuinness, and McGuinness’ ROH career is on the line. Nigel said on ROH TV that if he can’t beat Moriarty in three tries, he’ll never wrestle in Ring of Honor again.
It’s the third singles match between the two. Moriarty submitted McGuinness under Pure Rules at Final Battle 2024, then went over again in a 30-minute Iron Man match at Final Battle last December, taking the winning fall in sudden death after the two finished regulation tied 4-4.
Athena will also put the ROH Women’s World Title on the line against Hazuki. The Stardom star teamed with the Brawling Birds, Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor, to beat Athena, Billie Starkz and Diamante on Thursday’s Collision.
After the bell, Athena and her minions laid Hazuki out in the ring, with Athena standing over her and taunting her with the belt.
