AEW’s Gabe Kidd has ruled out a match against anyone on the current WWE roster and blasted the company’s talent in the process.
On Monday, Kidd held a Q&A with fans on his Instagram Stories. During the session, a fan asked who he would want to face from WWE.
“If you could wrestle anyone from WWE who would it be?”
Kidd responded:
“None of em they’re all s**t”
His answer didn’t include any names, not even for a potential dream match between the two promotions.
This is not the first time Kidd has gone after WWE talent in public. Kidd suffered a shoulder injury at Dynasty in April, and he later aired his frustrations in an Instagram post that slammed NJPW’s wrestlers as well.
In the post, Kidd promised to attack his opponents when he returned to the ring. The only ones he left out of those threats were David Finlay, Clark Connors, and the members of the Death Riders.
Kidd returned to AEW programming in August and reunited with Finlay and Connors in The Dogs. He wrestled his first AEW match since the injury on Collision on August 29.
Kidd also currently holds the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship in NJPW. He is set to make his next defense on Tuesday against Taichi in the main event of Power Struggle in Hiroshima, Japan.
