Cruz Montana, who made his WWE main roster debut by attacking Roman Reigns on Monday’s Raw, posted a message to fans on social media.

On Monday at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, a masked man hit the ring during the 946’s brawl with The Bloodline and blasted Reigns in the face with a chair before revealing himself.

That made Montana the newest member of the group led by Royce Keys, joining Carmelo Hayes, Bronco Nima, Lucien Price and Jaida Parker. The segment ended with Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn hitting Reigns with a Helluva Kick.

On Tuesday, Montana responded to an X post that praised his career since leaving AEW, in TNA and NXT and now on the main roster. But Montana kept it brief with a reminder that he has always bet on himself.

“NEVER let anyone say you can’t do it,” Montana wrote. “You see the vision. You put in the WORK. YOU MAKE IT HAPPEN! I’ll bet on myself every day of the week.”

Following Raw, Shawn Michaels congratulated Montana on social media. Michaels noted that Montana is the 19th NXT star to be called up to Raw or SmackDown in the last 12 months.

Montana debuted on NXT on July 21, shortly after his TNA contract expired. He picked his new name as a tribute to his father, who died in 2020.

Montana’s NXT run is expected to end on Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on The CW with an Unsanctioned Match against Dion Lennox.
