IShowSpeed has again addressed the possibility of taking his WWE run more seriously in the future, though he has not revealed any concrete plans.
During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, the streamer said he believes there may come a point where he commits more deeply to pro wrestling.
“I genuinely think at some point in my career, I will take WWE a bit more serious and actually [be] able to deliver my full self into it, and immerse myself into it.
But right now, I’m still figuring out what I really want to do.”
The comments stand out because Speed has moved beyond being a one-off WWE cameo. After appearing at WrestleMania XL dressed as a PRIME bottle and taking an RKO from Randy Orton, he entered the 2025 Royal Rumble as Akira Tozawa’s replacement before being eliminated by Bron Breakker.
His involvement grew even more in 2026. Speed was brought into the storyline with Logan Paul, Austin Theory, LA Knight and The Usos, and he ended up wrestling at WrestleMania 42 in a Six-Man Tag Team Match alongside Paul and Theory.
By the end of the match, however, things turned against him. After being attacked by Logan Paul, Speed was helped by LA Knight and The Usos before hitting a huge splash on Paul through the commentary table.
The response to his involvement has also been different from the backlash often aimed at other celebrities in WWE.
