Logan Paul, who has been off WWE programming after suffering a serious triceps injury, has revealed new details about the moment he realized something was wrong.

The injury happened at Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 23, during a World Tag Team Championship defense against The Street Profits. Paul and Austin Theory defeated Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford that night, retaining the titles.

During the latest episode of IMPAULSIVE, Paul explained how it all happened.

“I tore my tricep off the bone and a little piece of bone literally came with the tendon. […] What had happened was I was on the outside. A nearly 300lb Dawkins comes flying over the ropes. He lands on me. My arm is flexed and trying to catch him landing on the ground and too much weight, too much tension. I could feel the tendons snap off the elbow. And it’s interesting because the triceps I can’t even point. The triceps is in the middle of your arm, but it came from the elbow. It came from the bottom of the tricep. It detached here and in the shoulder, and I’ve been injured so many times. I knew immediately and you can hear, listen closely to when it happens. You can hear me. I’m not selling like a wrestler. That’s real pain.”

WWE confirmed on the following Monday Night RAW that Paul had suffered a torn triceps and would be out for several months. Shortly afterward, Paul revealed that he had undergone surgery and was given a six-month recovery timeline.
