Ricochet fired back at a Paul Heyman line from this week’s Monday Night RAW, using it to take a shot at WWE and put over AEW, where he’s been since 2024.
On the August 17 show in Buffalo, New York, Heyman stepped in to prevent Bron Breakker and Oba Femi from settling their differences in the ring. He brought up WWE’s corporate responsibilities, pointing out that the company also has to answer to its shareholders.
“This is the biggest promotion in the world. We don’t just answer to the people live and the people at home, we answer to shareholders.”
The line caught Ricochet’s attention, and he responded on social media Wednesday, August 19, calling AEW the greatest wrestling company in the world and saying the promotion’s priority is its fans.
“We’re the Greatest Wrestling company in the world. So no we don’t answer to “Share Holders” we answer to OUR fans.
Because they’re the ones who deserve it. 🤷🏽♂️ 👌🏽”

The segment wrapped up with Heyman officially announcing Oba Femi vs. Bron Breakker for Sunday Night’s Main Event on September 6 at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
