Solo Sikoa was at the center of one of The Bloodline’s biggest recent turns on the first SmackDown after WrestleMania 40, when he kicked Jimmy Uso out of the group and introduced Tama Tonga as the faction’s newest member.

The moment took place on April 12, 2024, just days after Jimmy lost to Jey Uso at the Showcase of the Immortals. Solo used that loss as the justification to completely change the structure of the group, which was still without Roman Reigns on WWE programming.

As Wrestling Notícias recalled, before the attack, Solo hugged Jimmy and said just six words:

“You’re my brother; I love you.”

Moments later, Tama Tonga made a surprise appearance and attacked Jimmy while Solo simply watched the destruction unfold. The segment left Paul Heyman visibly terrified, especially because he appeared to have no control over the situation.

That night, Solo also made it clear that wins and losses had consequences. The message was direct: Jimmy had failed against Jey Uso at WrestleMania 40, and this new version of The Bloodline had no room for that kind of loss.

Tama Tonga’s arrival immediately changed the direction of the storyline. In the following weeks, Solo began acting as the group’s de facto leader while Roman Reigns remained away after losing the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes.

The faction’s new format gained even more momentum at Backlash France, where Solo and Tama defeated Randy Orton and Kevin Owens in a Street Fight with help from Tonga Loa.

In the end, the line Solo delivered to Jimmy marked the start of a new chapter for The Bloodline, one that was much more violent and far removed from Roman Reigns’ original leadership.
