The Miz hasn’t let go of everything Danhausen has put him through on WWE television over the past several months.
Speaking with Denise Salcedo ahead of SummerSlam in Minneapolis, the A-Lister stayed in character and made clear he sees nothing entertaining about the program.
“I was made into a vegetable. I’ve been made into a zombie for the past four months, and I haven’t been on television in a month because of him.”
Miz also pinned part of the blame on SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis for letting the whole thing get out of hand.
“I blame Dan, and I blame Nick Aldis. Those are the two people I blame. Nick Aldis allowed a person to electrocute his Superstars. He’s so busy with GUNTHER that he forgot his job was to be general manager and protect his talent.”
The story started on the March 6 SmackDown, when Aldis paired the two and told Miz to serve as Danhausen’s mentor. Miz turned it down, which brought on the first “curse” and kicked off a run of segments that carried through WrestleMania 42 and kept rolling after the show.
Miz hasn’t been on TV since the July 3 SmackDown, the night The Judgment Day tampered with Danhausen’s experiment, though he has kept working WWE live events. He last wrestled on July 26, losing to Danhausen once again.
Danhausen, meanwhile, is set to face Dominik Mysterio at SummerSlam.
