AEW could end up running with reduced pyrotechnics at All In 2026, but Tony Khan says he has no knowledge of any planned changes to the promotion’s marquee event this Sunday, August 30, at Wembley Stadium in London.
Over the past several days, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that the company may be forced to scale back its pyro due to fire risks in the United Kingdom. Sources within AEW later backed up those reports, indicating that pyro usage would in fact be limited.
When asked directly about the situation in a recent interview with Alistair McGeorge of Metro UK, Khan said he was unaware of any such changes.
“That’s the first I’ve heard of any of that, so I can’t speculate.”
Despite the reports, Wembley Stadium’s official event page for All In still lists pyrotechnics and ringside flame effects as part of the show. As of now, there is no official indication that AEW will go entirely without pyro for the event.
The concerns stem from a heavy pyro display during the finale of The Weeknd’s concert at Wembley Stadium on August 14. Reports later emerged that the show took place amid heightened fire risk alerts across the country.
Even with the potential restrictions, AEW is reportedly still planning multiple special entrances for All In.
The pay-per-view marks AEW’s return to Wembley Stadium after the 2025 edition was held at Globe Life Field in Texas.
