The historic debut of WWE RAW on Netflix, which took place on January 6, broke worldwide viewership records.

According to official data released by Netflix, the show, held at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, drew more than 4.9 million viewers.

Specifically in the United States, around 2.6 million households tuned in, a 116% jump compared to the show’s 2024 average and the highest mark in the last five years.

Social media success was also massive, as WWE revealed that the hashtag #WWERaw led trending topics on X for hours in countries like the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and even Brazil.

For those who don’t know, WWE signed a billion-dollar, 10-year deal with Netflix.

The first episode on Netflix featured major star power that helped drive those numbers. In addition to Rhea Ripley being crowned the new Women’s World Champion and a surprise appearance by The Undertaker, the broadcast featured stars from outside pro wrestling, like Travis Scott and Logan Paul.
