The Vision may be on borrowed time in WWE, especially after Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker’s rivalry wrapped up at Night of Champions.

The group, currently made up of Breakker, Paul Heyman, Austin Theory, Logan Paul and Bronson Reed, has been going through an unstable stretch. Reed is recovering from surgery for a distal bicep tear, while Logan Paul has also been absent from recent programming.

According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, WWE is internally split on the stable’s future. One side of the company believes The Vision could still continue, but only if it is reworked, including changes to its lineup.

“Some within WWE believe that The Vision could continue, but only if it’s reimagined, and that includes member changes. Another side of that is some feel The Vision has run its course, and it’s time to “let the pieces fall where they may””

The turning point may have come at Night of Champions, when Rollins defeated Breakker in a Steel Cage Match. Breakker appeared alone during the match, without help from Heyman or the other members, and lost after taking an Avalanche Blackout. Michael Cole and Corey Graves noted during the broadcast that Rollins had put his rivalry with The Vision behind him.

The situation became even more apparent on the following Raw, on June 29, when Heyman appeared alongside Brock Lesnar and showed little interest in Theory. Backstage, Theory complained that Heyman was not taking his calls, only to receive a cold response before Heyman walked away.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding the group, Heyman is expected to remain tied to Breakker. WWE views the “Wiseman” as an important part of the young wrestler’s presentation, even if The Vision ends or is completely rebuilt.
