WWE has announced that Raw and SmackDown will both take place in one night during Christmas week. So, that week’s SmackDown will be taped early.

The show will take place on Monday, December 21, at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., and is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. ET. Raw will air live on Netflix, while SmackDown will be taped to air on Christmas Day, Friday, December 25, on USA Network.

The arena announced the two shows under the name “Two Shows. One Night,” with both of WWE’s main roster brands on the same night.

The following Monday, December 28, WWE will do it again, this time at Benchmark International Arena in Tampa, Florida.

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that WWE will tape the January 1, 2027, SmackDown in advance and will still do so even though AEW has Dynamite scheduled for that night.

WWE also has its annual Holiday Tour coming up. There are eight house shows officially scheduled from December 26 to 30, with two each day other than Monday, when WWE will be in Tampa for the tapings.

That includes a return to Madison Square Garden in New York on Saturday, December 26. Madison Square Garden is advertising Seth Rollins, Oba Femi, Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio, Stephanie Vaquer, Becky Lynch, and Sol Ruca for the show. The show is set to start at 7:30 p.m. ET.
