TNA suffered another major departure on Wednesday amid a period of significant internal restructuring.
Just hours after Tommy Dreamer’s exit was confirmed, Sami Callihan left the company, then took to social media shortly afterward to confirm the news. The former TNA World Champion had been working behind the scenes as a producer since retiring from in-ring competition last year.
Callihan wrote the following:
“Thought I was getting called today to be offered a position in creative… nope.
l’ve parted ways with TNA.”
The timing of the departure is especially notable. Dreamer, who held roles in production, creative, and talent relations, announced on Busted Open that he and TNA had mutually agreed to part ways.
TNA’s creative direction also remains up in the air. According to Fightful Select, Road Dogg had been discussed internally as a possible replacement for Dreamer. PWInsider, meanwhile, pointed to Delirious as the main name overseeing creative at the moment.
Callihan ended his in-ring career at TNA Emergence 2025 after losing to Mike Santana in a Baltimore Street Fight.
