Sami Callihan is no longer with TNA, adding to the sense of internal change that has taken over the company in recent weeks.

According to PWInsider, the former TNA World Champion parted ways with the company after spending time working backstage as a producer, a role he moved into after retiring from the ring last year.

Callihan last wrestled in August 2025 at TNA Emergence, where he was defeated by Mike Santana in a Baltimore Street Fight. Under the stipulation, the “Death Machine” would have to end his career if he lost.

Despite his retirement, Callihan remained with TNA in a backstage role, helping with show production and matters related to live events.

His exit comes at a delicate time for the company. Tommy Dreamer also left TNA on Wednesday (17) following a conversation with president Carlos Silva. As a result, Hunter Johnston, better known as Delirious, is expected to be the leading name on the creative team moving forward.

TNA has also been dealing with other recent departures. Tessa Blanchard was granted her release this week, while Steve Maclin and Myla Grace also left the company in recent days.
