AEW Announces Grand Slam: France for October

AEW is heading to France for the first time on October 6, running Grand Slam: France at the Adidas Arena in Paris. The Tuesday event will include tapings of both Dynamite and Collision.

The Paris date marks AEW’s latest move in expanding Grand Slam internationally, following previous editions in New York, Australia, and Mexico. The France show will be the ninth Grand Slam overall.

Speaking with Sports Business Journal, Tony Khan explained why the time was finally right to bring AEW to France.

“There are so many great wrestling fans in France, and a lot of fans from France have made the trek to London to see AEW, and we believe there’s a lot of excitement around All Elite Wrestling in Paris, and it just felt like this would be the perfect time to launch with a huge event.”

Khan added that he hopes to run more events in the country and turn Paris into a regular stop on AEW’s touring schedule.

The Adidas Arena opened in February 2024 and holds roughly 8,000 for sporting events. The venue hosted badminton and rhythmic gymnastics during the Paris Olympics and was also used for Paralympic competition.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on August 28 at 4 a.m. ET (10 a.m. local time in Paris). AEW Insiders will have early presale access.
