Mick Foley is expected to continue appearing on AEW programming following his debut at Double or Nothing, which took place this past Sunday at Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York.
In an interview with the Toronto Sun, Tony Khan said he could not say with 100% certainty that the WWE Hall of Famer will be at AEW Redemption, but he described Foley’s involvement as very likely. The company’s new pay-per-view is scheduled for July 26 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec.
“There’s a good chance Mick could show up. He’s doing a lot of AEW events, and I think it’s very likely he’ll be hosting the show in Montreal.”

“I can’t say 100% for certain, but I think there’s a very high likelihood that Mick will be attending and hosting [Redemption] in Montreal. I’m a huge fan of Mick. I’ve grown up watching him.… pic.twitter.com/eNmmkHAh6O
AEW confirmed Tuesday that Redemption will be the company’s first pay-per-view in Montreal. General ticket sales will begin June 1 at 10 a.m. ET, while the presale will run from May 28 through May 31.
Foley made his official AEW debut during the Double or Nothing Buy In alongside Renee Paquette. During the segment, he got involved with MJF, who hit the veteran with a low blow before Darby Allin came out.
Despite the tease, Khan has already indicated that Foley’s initial role will be as a host, ambassador and possible creative contributor. In other words, at least for now, there is no concrete indication that the legendary Cactus Jack will return to the ring.
