Mick Foley will make his first official AEW appearance this Sunday during the Double or Nothing Buy In alongside Renee Paquette.

AEW confirmed the news itself, announcing Foley as part of the pay-per-view’s free pre-show before the main card.

After the announcement, Foley reacted on social media and celebrated the news, saying he is “extremely happy” to make his debut for Tony Khan’s company.

The WWE Hall of Famer also said he is looking forward to seeing Khan again, noting that the two had lunch together about 15 years ago, and mentioned that he is excited to meet the AEW roster.

“I am extremely happy to be making my debut with AEW,” Foley wrote. “Looking forward to seeing Tony Khan for the first time in many years and meeting up with AEW’s amazing roster.”

AEW Double or Nothing takes place on May 24 at Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York, with a 7 p.m. local start time.

Among the announced highlights for the event is Darby Allin defending the AEW World Championship against MJF in a Hair vs. Title Match.
