Mick Foley, who made his first official AEW appearance during Double or Nothing, took to social media to celebrate the start of this new chapter.

The WWE Hall of Famer’s appearance had already been announced by AEW ahead of time, with the company confirming that Foley would appear alongside Renee Paquette on the Buy In, which aired on AEW’s YouTube channel.

However, the night ended up going beyond a standard pre-show appearance. During Zero Hour, Tony Khan announced that Foley is now officially “All Elite,” confirming that he had signed with the company.

On his official Instagram account, Foley said he was “happy” to be part of AEW and to have contributed, even in a small way, to a major night of pro wrestling.

“ALL ELITE

I am so genuinely happy to be part of @AEW, and to have contributed in a small way to such an amazing night of wrestling.”

In the show’s main event, Darby ended up losing the AEW World Championship to MJF. With the win, MJF became AEW World Champion for the third time.
