AEW again teased the arrival of Ilja Dragunov on Friday, indicating that his debut could happen as early as WrestleDream, a pay-per-view that will be held on Saturday in Orlando, Florida.

In a new post on social media, the company released a mysterious video, accompanied by the official WrestleDream hashtag and by the message “TOMORROW!” creating a direct link between Dragunov’s possible arrival and the event.

The video shows a man wearing a suit, conducting an orchestra, while other scenes show training sessions in a ring and a metronome. The images follow the same style as the first vignette, which aired on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite/Collision.

According to Fightful Select, the identity behind the videos is really Dragunov. The report also reinforces that he already signed a contract with AEW, while the company was working to resolve issues related to his work visa.

The information adds to what Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter had revealed in September, when he confirmed Dragunov’s signing and indicated that his debut would happen soon.

Friday’s post, however, represents the first direct link between a Dragunov teaser and a specific date. AEW has not yet revealed what his participation in WrestleDream will be.

The event will take place at the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida, starting at 8 p.m. ET, with a live stream on HBO Max in the United States.
