Multiple reports indicate Bayley has signed a new multi-year WWE contract with an expanded backstage role.

Bayley Expected to Have Major Influence in WWE After Possibly Signing New Deal

Bayley is expected to remain with WWE after months of uncertainty surrounding her future. Beyond securing a new contract, she could also take on an expanded role outside her in-ring duties.

False Finish reported that sources within WWE believe she has already signed a new contract, pointing to an expectation that she will take on responsibilities beyond active competition. Fightful corroborated the story on August 30, noting that WWE sources verified she signed a multi-year deal. Neither Bayley nor WWE has publicly addressed the agreement or detailed what that expanded role might entail.

The development marks a notable shift from earlier in the summer. In July, Fightful detailed that her contract was set to expire at the end of 2026 without an extension in place. Dave Meltzer subsequently noted on Wrestling Observer Radio on August 11 that she still had a decision to make.

She has been off television since Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 18 at New York’s Madison Square Garden, where she dropped a singles match to Lyra Valkyria and was laid out in a post-match attack. Her last match overall took place at a July 26 live event in Bakersfield, California.

PWInsider reported on Thursday that creative pitches are already circulating for her return to Raw. The company expects her back on the road in the coming weeks.
