Neither Bayley nor WWE has publicly addressed the agreement or detailed what that expanded role might entail.
The development marks a notable shift from earlier in the summer. In July, Fightful detailed that her contract was set to expire at the end of 2026 without an extension in place. Dave Meltzer subsequently noted on Wrestling Observer Radio on August 11 that she still had a decision to make.
